High Noon Saloon

Patchwork Monkey is delighted to play the beautiful High Noon Saloon stage once again!  Please join us for cocktail hour at this premiere Madison music venue on a beautiful Madison spring saturday afternoon and linger on into evening.  The High Noon Saloon has excellent service, brilliant acoustics, comfortable patio, ample seating, Glass Nickel pizza, Guiness and various beloved Wisconsin microbrews on tap from places like New Glarus, Capitol, Ale Asylum... And some pretty wonderful people frequent the place, 'tis true.

We strive to please you, and have a lot of novelty and whimsy and beauty to offer...  And we've been cooking up some seriously over-the-top music with some inspired original songs.  We shall have an LP to offer you for sale that day...  I guess that makes this a...

We love stage play like lights and sets and gags and surprises, and we will also have some lovely little material things we like to call merch.  You will finally be able to get your hands on some Patchwork Monkey schwag of your very own: a soundtrack to life, and maybe a little monkey trinket to remind you of the general unpredictable beauty and depth of life...  If it only takes 100 monkeys to turn the world around, we better start on that monkey population!  Spread the word :)

Talula

Patchwork Monkey is playing their second annual St. Patrick's Day show, this time at the lovely and lively Talula restaurant and bar. There will be drink specials, there will be music, there will be dan...cing, there will be good food and good cheer. And there will be you there with us, swinging from the rafters, giggling in corners, cutting a rug, and loosening belts, lips, and hips!

MAMA award -voting ends

The Madison Area Music Association is having their annual fundraiser and awards show, and we need you to get online and cast your ballots!  The first round of voting ends on March 15th, so time is of the essence.

We are entered into 5 categories:
Artist of the Year
New Artist Performer
... Female Vocalist (as Rebecca Nebula Sites)
Blues song (for "I Ain't Your Mama") *which is apropos, right?
Rock song (for "Reflection")

Go to http://www.themamas.org/ The site will ask you to register, if you haven't before, to vote. And you will be asked to pay $5 and spend a bit of time voting. But the money goes to a wonderful cause: putting musical instruments into kids hands. So... with the schools cutting music programs everywhere, and studies showing how music helps brain growth, functioning, and happiness on so many levels... well... if you don't feel like doing it for the Monkey, do it for all the future monkeys... er... I mean humans!

You can do this to support the band from any corner of the Earth.

The Village Green

Come make merry with Patchwork Monkey on a nippy night. We have the jungle noises that will fire up the blood in those veins. We bring you Blues, Rock, Jazz, Soul, and Funk, with a good dose of bawdy humor, whimsy, and soul-transporting art.
